Who Remote Training Is For
Pitchers
Remote athletes train on the same principles as on-site athletes. Every two weeks, you’ll test key metrics like velocity, mobility, and strength, then upload your data and videos through the VeloU App. Coaches provide feedback within 24 hours, ensuring you’re on track to keep throwing harder, developing new pitches, and staying healthy.

Catchers (BackStopU Remote)
Catchers can train remotely with VeloU through BackStopU, focusing on throwing strength, defensive work, and leadership development. You’ll upload drills and game clips for breakdowns, while also receiving programming specific to your needs behind the plate.
Position Players
Position players can benefit from remote training in throwing development, strength, and mobility. Through the app, they can upload throwing and defensive work for feedback, while following a custom program designed around their goals.

Testimonials

Hunter Colagrande
College
"I started training in August '23 and saw an immediate increase in my average Velocity through a simple fix in the input portion of my mechanics. I really like the emphasis on Arm Care and keeping my arm healthy throughout the entire season. I'm now in my sophomore year at Stony Book and looking to continue progressing remotely with VeloU."

"I've been a remote athlete with VeloU since my Junior year of high school. When I started I was around 88-91 and struggled with consistency. Now in my Junior year I'm up to 97mph and looking forward to my first season in the SEC.

I've been a VeloU Remote athlete for 3 years. I joined after my first season with the Tampa Bay Rays from a former coaches recommendation. Every since, it has been life changing. My velocity has jumped significantly and so has my overall strength and pitchability. I visit to test and re test a few times a year and will train remotely from there. This year I was traded to the White Sox and ended the '25 season at AAA Charlotte.

No. While pitchers make up most of our athletes, we also train catchers and position players. All athletes get access to throwing, strength, and hitting work through the app.
Yes. Many athletes train remotely during the year and visit us on-site when possible. Both options work together seamlessly.
