Tom, a Quinnipiac University graduate with a bachelor's degree in business management and a former baseball player drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2016 MLB draft, pitched for 7 seasons in the minor leagues, reaching AAA. In the offseason, he served as a throwing instructor across multiple facilities in NY, CT, and MA. After concluding his playing career, Tom transitioned to work as an analyst for a consulting company, bringing a data-driven approach to enhance athlete performance.

Sam is a performance coach with a versatile background in pitching, strength and conditioning, and athlete development. He holds a Master of Business Administration from St. John’s University and earned his bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College, where he was a member of the baseball program’s pitching staff.
Sam currently serves as a Performance Advisor for the baseball programs at St. John’s University, Fordham University, and New York University, working alongside collegiate programs to support athlete development, performance training, and arm health. He has also presented at the World Baseball Coaches’ Convention on arm health and the development and implementation of return-to-throw programs.
Previously, Sam served as the strength and conditioning coach for the St. John’s University baseball program. He currently serves as the pitching coach at his alma mater, Fox Lane High School.

During his time at Cortland, he also served as a biomechanics lab instructor for two years. Passionate about pushing and improving the next generation of athletes, Paul is dedicated to shaping the future of athletic development.

Before college, Ben was a member of the Canadian Junior National Team, showcasing his talent on an international stage. With extensive experience in pitching instruction and coaching in the New York area, he is passionate about helping future athletes reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

Tim, the Director of Athletic Nutrition, holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Mercy College and certifications from the Nutrition Coaching Institute and International Society of Sports Nutrition. With a background spanning 20 years at the City of White Plains Fire Department, Tim is committed to providing tailored nutrition plans that support athletes' training programs and optimize their performance.


Tim, the Director of Athletic Nutrition, holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Mercy College and certifications from the Nutrition Coaching Institute and International Society of Sports Nutrition. Mike graduated in 2024 from Roanoke College with a degree in Economics and Finance, where he pitched as a right-hander and was a four-time ODAC All-Academic selection. During his career he added 10 mph to his fastball through data-driven training, which led to his passion for analytics in player development. At VeloU, he combines his background in economics, biomechanics, and data analysis with coaching experience to help pitchers build velocity, stay healthy, and continue progressing in their careers.

He’s committed to helping players make steady progress and continue advancing in their careers.

A four-year starter for the Alabama Crimson Tide Softball team, Cassie achieved remarkable success, winning three Southeastern Conference Championships and a National Championship in her senior year. Additionally, she is the author of the book, "Finished It - A Team's Journey to Winning it All," and a distinguished member of the NYS Softball Hall of Fame.

From social media and video production to website development and marketing campaigns, Kenny works to showcase VeloU’s athletes, coaches, and training process while continuing to grow the brand both locally and nationally.
Before moving into media and marketing, Kenny played Division I baseball at the University at Albany, giving him a firsthand understanding of the athlete experience and the work required to compete at a high level. His background in baseball, combined with his experience in media and marketing, helps bridge the gap between what happens inside the facility and how VeloU communicates it to athletes, families, and the broader baseball community.
