The most important and impactful thing I've learned at VeloU is to coach myself. The coaches do a tremendous job of explaining why you do things, how to do them so that when you're off playing and not with them, you can still coach yourself.

Dr. Nick and team are all amazing teachers, guides, and technicians. The culture at VeloU is what makes it truly special. Everyone helps each other and wants one another to succeed. It's very unique in that way, and every player I've seen go through the doors here, including my son, has improved as a result.

VeloU has been crucial to my development over the years. I’ve been going to VeloU since I was a freshman in high-school, I am now a freshman in college, and I can confidently say I would not be where I am today without VeloU and the coaches there. I recommend VeloU to every athlete who wants to take their game to the next level

When I first went to VeloU, I was only 130 lbs and throwing 76-78 and hadn’t yet committed to a college. But now after going there for about 2.5 years, I am now 200 lbs and throwing 92-95 topping 96 and playing in the minor leagues for the Tampa Bay Rays after being drafted in the 6th round of the ‘22 MLB Draft. Another thing that stands out from VeloU is how much the coaches care about each person as an individual both on and off the field and won’t hesitate to help you at all.

"My velocity has increased from 88-91 T92/93 last year to 92-94 T95/96 mph this year. More importantly my arm and body have remained healthy."

Ever since the inception of VeloU I have progressed in every way imaginable. I have seen myself increase from a mental standpoint 10 fold on breath, visualization, and routine. The coaches and staff there have implemented unique training formulas for me as soon as I report to them after each season. After baseline testing that we do year after year we have quantifiable data that shows how we have progressed in mechanical ranges of motion, strength aspects have increased, pitch metrics have increased, and above all, velocity has increased. Without Dr. Nicholas Serio and his supporting staff I would not have gotten to the big leagues without them.
